Normally I hate how these headbands look on me but with how my hair is/was, I liked it! My hair was really wavy from having it in braids plus my bangs are slowly getting longer.
I’m thinking of cutting my hair kind of like a cross between Anne Hathaways and Rachel McAdams soon…but a bit longer. That or I’ll just get a trim. haha It’s actually harder for me to commit to just trimming it than it is cutting a bunch off!
I’m having such a great long weekend! My husband has today off from work. :)
Saturday: Book store, beach, shopping + UFC match at Fenways Sports Bar and Grill
Sunday: Base, shopping, baking, walking + Jon and Kate Plus 8 marathon.
Today: Haircut (not mine… soon hopefully), laundry, swimming, reading/tanning…. popsicles!

I’ve struggled with how to wear this skirt since I bought it at Old Navy for $3. I took it in on the sides because it was unflatteringly “puffy”. It’s just that I’m used to wearing this either on my hips or very high waisted and this is in between!

Well, I wore this for half an hour but since I was just playing video I decided to change into something more comfortable than those shorts. I somehow hurt my knee WHILE I was sleeping last night… it’s really sore today! haha My husband thinks I was dreaming about fighting with him or something because as we were sleeping we kept knocking into each other and stuff. Funny.
I just got Season One of Flight of the Conchords to show my husband. I saw it and thought it was hilarious! Have any of you seen it?
Sometimes the pictures I most want to tranform myself into are made up of wild hair, eye catching clothes and girlfriends. If only I could jump into the pages and join them, if only for a moment.

It’s about time!!
I need a size XL sometimes when shopping for fitted tops/dresses because of my large bust and it can be sooo aggrivating trying to find that. I always found it odd that Forever 21 didn’t carry XLs before!
I can’t even remember where this belt is from but I bought it around Christmas time for something like 50 cents and… this is the first time I’ve worn it! Normally I don’t hold onto things that I don’t wear but this has somehow been with me for a few years now… it has even moved apartments with me. Well, it’s actually very comfortable. It’s this soft, quilted texture but it would be nice if it has another belt loop.

I love playing around with my makeup but it’s hard to capture the final look with my camera. However, I discovered that if I stand at my sliding doors and hold the camera outside, facing in, that it works best. haha Here I was trying out fuschia coloured lips! My husband is always surprised when I have lip stick in since I don’t wear it much; I think he kind of likes it though. Oh and on the topic of makeup… I paid $3 for the sample pack of mineral make up from Ever Day Minerals (check their website) and I’m hooked! It’s really great stuff.
I spent yesterday inside mostly, talking with a friend. Girl talk. I had missed that. :)
Here’s what I wore anyway. I have been working out a lot and I feel like it’s paying off, so I’m really happy. Plus, I’m getting tanned! Thanks California!

Er, my feet are pretty fugly right now but I wanted to show the nail polish. I wanted light blue so I took a half full bottle of white nail polish and added some rich blue to it…. voila!
